Growing up on the vibrant west side of Austin, I developed a deep-rooted passion for animals that led me to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian.
My journey in the world of veterinary medicine is a testament to my dedication and love for the well-being of our furry friends. In high school, my involvement in the FFA (Future Farmers of America) extended beyond the traditional bounds. Not only did I engage in Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) projects, but I also took on leadership roles, honing my skills and fostering a sense of responsibility.
My academic journey took me to Texas A&M University, where I earned a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in business. During this time, I furthered my practical experience by working in the teaching hospital's large animal surgery department. This hands-on experience allowed me to immerse myself in the intricacies of veterinary care.
Continuing my education, I proudly obtained my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M. Since then, I've dedicated my career to serving the Austin community, working at various clinics. One of my unique experiences includes a full-service small animal mobile job, where I bring veterinary care directly to pet owners.
In my practice, I find joy in focusing on preventative care, behavior, and dermatology. These areas not only align with my professional interests but also allow me to make a positive impact on the lives of pets and their owners.
As a member of both the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), I stay abreast of the latest developments in veterinary medicine, ensuring that I provide the highest standard of care to my patients.
Outside the clinic, you'll find me enjoying the great outdoors and delving into a good book. My family, which includes one child, two horses, four cats, four dogs, and Severus the snake, brings constant joy and companionship to my life.
