Dr. Kara Harman has a special interest in animal behavior, is certified in Fear Free medicine, and has a soft spot working with animals to make sure they have the best experience possible.
Dr. Harman is originally from McKinney, Texas where she grew up and graduated high school. She spent 4 years playing Division I soccer at Rice University in Houston, Texas, and graduated with her Bachelors in Biological Sciences. She went on to vet school at Texas A&M and graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2021.
Dr. Harman is married to Max, who is a Marine Corps veteran. They are expecting their first child early in 2022. They have an English cream golden retriever (Kalli), a Staffordshire/shepherd mix (Cary), and a husky/heeler mix (Koda). In her free time, Dr. Harman enjoys hiking, hunting, and spending time with her husband and dogs.
