Meet Dr. Morgan Heller, a valued member of the Jarrell Animal Hospital team.
Dr. Morgan Heller graduated from the Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2019. Prior to this, she attended Penn State University, obtaining a Bachelor's of Science in Animal Science with a minor in Military Studies. She accepted a military scholarship through the ROTC program during this time and commissioned in the United States Army.
Following veterinary school, Dr. Heller spent five years in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps. She has served in many places including Ft. Campbell, KY, Ft. Cavazos, TX, and Djibouti, Africa. While in these places she worked in both traditional clinical settings and also in deployed environments. During her time in Africa, she provided veterinary medical and surgical care to the Military Working Dogs throughout the continent. She values the opportunity to have cared for these canine athletes who worked tirelessly to protect her fellow Service Members.
Dr. Heller and her husband Vincent, a U.S. Navy veteran, now reside in Central Texas. They are thankful to have found such a great place to settle down after their global travels through the military.
In her spare time, Dr. Heller enjoys fitness activities such as CrossFit and hiking. She and Vincent have two dogs and a cat who they love dearly! She is excited to be a part of the Jarrell Animal Hospital family!
